| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 22, 2008 This golden ale poured with a decent off-white head. The body is light and refreshing. The flavor is very spicy for a wheat beer with a somewhat bitter finish. A simple beer that is not particularly satisfying. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 19, 2007 Bottle poured into a wiezen gass. Pours straw yelow with a small white rocky head that diminishes to a sma fim on top of the beer, there is spotty lacing. Looking at the glass it is very murky from the haze and yeast. For the aroma the first aroma you get is yeasty, slightly doughy and cheesy. There is also a light grainy aroma followed by a slight citrusy/lemon aroma. Taking the first drink the body is light to medium, the initial taste you get is a yeasty taste followed very closely by a citrusy hop flavor, orange and lemon. There is a very little bitterness in this beer. The texture is creamy with lively carbonation. Overall it is a allright summer beer. It is not a very complex beer. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 16, 2007 A crystal clear straw gold with very defined carbonation bubbles rising slowly. Heading was almost non existent but a small residue layer of foam had left its mark on top of the beer. Has the classic signature aroma of a true summer ale with its mild hop and sourgrass smell but this also adds a touch of grain wheat to the nose as well. The flavor is a little to much for me to bare due to the fact it taste like soap, and i know it’s not because of how i washed the glass. Average notes of grass, grain, perfume, soap, water and of course alcohol is how i’d describe this flavor in a nutshell. hayduke (1662), Eureka, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 15, 2007 Here is another one I tried both refrigerator cold and at 57 degree from my beer cellar. Much better if not too cold. Optimal would probably be somewhere in between. This poured a cloudy gold, with medium white head and average lacing. Nose is of yeast, banana, and wheat. Mouthfeel is average for a wheat being medium in palate. Flavor is complex for a wheat with fruit, hops, and citrus detectable. Slightly bitter finish. Very drinkable. mjg74 (2000), La Mesa, California, USA
