Pours a cloudy yellow with a soapy, dramatic head. The aroma is fairly inviting with candy lemon drops coming to mind. Thin to medium palate with a nice burst of carbonation. The flavor doesn’t quite live up to the aroma, but it isn’t bad. Sweet citrus and a little bit of a punch of spice. Not bad.

pours hazy blonde, has white sediment floating all around. Good taste but weak body and confusing on the palate. Small white head that vanishes but stays small.

Bottle: Pours a hazy blond color with a puffy white head. The nose is ripe with wheat and esters along with a citrusy spice and coriander note. The flavor is wheaty and a bit husky, but the spice and hops pick up where that left off and it ends up being quite flavorful. Thinner body leads to easier drinking too. Quite good.

Drank as Summer White Ale. Poured from the bottle to a hazy golden color with thin whitre head that lingered awhile with little lacing, and suspended yeast throughout. Nose was a spicy, biscuity scent with a hint of fruit. Mouthfeel, while a little on the thin side, was tingly and a hint tart. Flavor picked up the scents of the nose, though not quite as strongly, and the finish was pleasant. Nice summer beer.

12 oz. Bottle. Purchased as a 10 Pack at World Market. Pours a nice yellow/gold color. Aroma was pleasant including citrus and some barley. Taste was also pleasant. Light white head. A decent beer on a nice summer day.

12 oz bottle purchased as part of a beers of summer 10 pack at World Market. Pour is yellow golden, fully hazy with some protein particulates floating about. The pure white one inch head falls fast. Aroma is noticeably floral with a bright lemon citrus. General yeast spiciness, clove is present below the floral and fruit. Taste is lemon citrus fruit and the floral yeastiness. Nothing really is sharp or out of balance, nice and integrated. As it warms ginger and coriander ome out. Palate is full bodied, yet light and refreshing with a lingering floral finish. Nice enough wit.

12 oz bottle-cloudy golden color w/a moderate white head & great lacing. Aroma of citrus & wheat. Flavors of lemon citrus, spice & wheat. Had a crisp dry flavor w/a lot of carbonation. Solid Whit, a little drier than some, but a refreshing, easy drinking, summer brew. Long, dry finish.

12 oz bottle - Mendocino White Ale - Brewed Saratoga Springs NY. Pours a hazy golden color with a foamy white head. Plenty of carbonation bubbles going on for a while after the pour which is expected for this white ale. Aroma orange, lemon, wheat, spice and soap. Taste is citrusy with some spiciness and the typical (at least in my mind) soapiness of a witbier. The ale was right in line with what I expected - no more, no less. Enjoyable and drinkable and reasonably priced which makes it even easier to drink on nice summer day.
