Cloudy amber color; almost no head. Good, sweet caramel aroma, mature, hoppy. Full bodied, rich malt flavor, sweet caramel and toffee too, some vanilla, and with the necessary bitterness for a Barleywine. A classic style excellent Barleywine.

Pours a tiny centimeter of tan head that hastens to vanish. Dark maroon/amber color. Nose is caramel, oak, a hint of vanilla. Same flavors as the aroma with the addition of dark fruits, leather, and a bit more hops in the forefront. Heavily malted backbone. Thick and velvety mouthfeel typical for the style. Thin/medium carbonation and full-bodied. Very drinkable; the ABV pleasantly warms the throat without overwhelming the flavor. This beer is certainly underrated.

Fusel alcohol with some Diacetyl and rotten dark fruit. Underattenuated and sweet body that seems rather sticky. More diacetyl and rotten fruit in the finish.

Bomber - Pours a quite cloudy dark brown in color with a very thin head and almost no carbonation. Aroma is very malty and very sweet with no hops apparent. Flavor is also quite sweet and thick. Decent BW... I really enjoyed this!

Pours dark brown with a minor, white, fine head. Aroma is sweet with some qualities of caramel, maple, dark fruits, and chocolate. Mouth feel is solid with a sweet flavor of similar qualities to the aroma with a mild smokiness. Excellent flavor that lingers.

Pours a cloudy looking brown with very little head. Nice strong aroma of raisins and caramel. Decent sweetness, seems a little dull. A little bit of bitterness at the end.
