Jul 26, 2005 This bomber poured an amber, with tan head. I liked this. It was smooth, fruity, caramel , spices. The 10.5% is well hidden, and the smoothness makes this a great brew.

Jun 29, 2005 Bomber: pours a cloudy amber color with smallish off white head. Aroma is malty, full of caramel, orange peel, oak. Flavor has caramel, orange, vanilla, with a moderate bitterness throughout and hints of alcohol.

Jun 27, 2005 Poured a dark amber that is almost brown. The aroma has caramel, cherries, toast and walnuts. The taste is strong toast with a little grapefruit. There is also toffee and peanuts. This is a little hot, but still nice.

Jun 25, 2005 22 oz bottle pours rich amber with a decent sized head. Aroma is piney hops and sweet fruits like apple and peach. Taste is caramel and brown sugar, not too sweet. Nice mouthfeel with a somewhat dry finish.

Jun 14, 2005 Delicious barley wine. Nice maltiness that, coupled with the alcohol, steals the breath like eating too many whoppers. Plenty of spicy hops lends some citrus notes.
