A nice amber pour with a pretty big white head with lots of lacing. Typcial IPA aromas of citrus, pine and malt. Flavor was smooth but pretty light on the hops. A good beer, but not great by any stretch. Beerman6686 (1304), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 6, 2008 Bottled from a sample pack. Aroma of hops and grass. Crisp and bitter, with a bite on the palate. A good IPA. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 5, 2008 Pours an attractive glowing unflitered orange white small to medium white head. Smell is slightly chalky citrusy hops. Taste is light, but refreshing and mildly hoppy with a soft bitterness and a bit of an astringent flavor. Moderate maltiness and some alcohol pokes its head through too, unfortunately. Medium body and carbonation. Mild flavor and drinkable but there are a couple problems with the chemically hop flavor and the alcohol flavor... tedovertu (260), Apple Valley, Minnesota, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jul 4, 2008 Bottle, Small off white head with moderate lacing. Clear amber body. Aroma has mild hops mixed with perfume. Extremely dry beer with a extremely bitter finish. I usually like IPA but this one is just too dry and too bitter. The belch/aftertaste is much better than the beer. ChazMania (415), Pasadena, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 2, 2008 Bottled. Very light fragrance with a little fruit. Gold in color. An easy to drink beer but not unique nor huge. Good IPA perhaps for folks who are entering the micro beer tastes. Ceebs25 (242), Naperville, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 25, 2008 Bottle. Light aroma for an ipa, mostly piny hops. Light burnt orange color, hazy, very small head, disappears quickly. Sticky pine hops with some herbal (?) hop taste from start to the short aftertaste, not so surprising, but also fairly pronounced malt flavor after the start, smooth yet has a thicker body. This one’s a little off, but still enjoyable. moelikebeer (220), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
