Jan 11, 2008 cloudy copper with decent amount of white head. Fruity bouquet. Flavorful pine and fruit hoppiness. Earthy/metallic after taste that lingers. Well balanced, but maybe a bit bland.... good but not great IPA

Jan 10, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Unidentifiable metallic smell with sour yeast. Cloudy, thick appearance with frothy white head that leaves a lot of lacing as it slimes down the glass. Flavor of bitter pine with a stong hoppy middle palate and a sour finish. I can see how this beer could endure a voyage of any kind, any length. It probably just gets hoppier and more bitter the longer it travels; kinda like my husband.

Jan 7, 2008 Pours orange with a few fingers of stark-white head. Floral citrus notes in the odor. The taste has a slight hoppy taste, but overall seems to be pretty tame for an IPA. It’s drinkable, but there are far better IPAs out there.

Jan 4, 2008 Light hazy amber body. Mild citrus on the nose. Body is medium and a bit sweet, with mellow hopping for balance. Not a real aggressive IPA, more like the English rendition. Good, but a little bland.

Jan 2, 2008 Metallic tasting is the most obvious strike against it. Clear amber with a slightly rocky off-white head that lasts. Hoppieness is basic, like it could have came from hop extract. Aroma is nice, but not very strong for an IPA. Just a step above a pale ale in boldness. Not terrible, but I doubt I would shell out the coin for another 6 pack.

Dec 31, 2007 12oz bottle poured in a shaker. MWHOIPA pours murky copper with a large fluffy head. The lacing is like linen, solid and off-white. The nose is minimal and floral. The body is medium to chewy and a little oily. Being an IPA the hops obviously play a large part in the taste but there is a definite bile under current that I do not like at all. The finish is spicy. This is a below average IPA.

Dec 25, 2007 Poured a hazy golden-straw body with a medium-sized whitish head. Toasted malts and fragrant herbal notes. Mild bitterness in finish. I am assuming this is a traditional IPA. A little boring but not too bad.

Dec 22, 2007 Pours a slightly hazy straw color. Decent head with some lasting power but no lacing. Aroma is almost non-existant but has some sweetness. It tastes like an old lady’s perfume. Flowery. And the maltiness is very similar to a 99 cent malt liquor. This is pretty bad.
