Jul 8, 2007 12 oz bottle. Well it poured a good looking clear orangey/copper color with a bubbly white head but upon closer inspection it appered a little thin. The initial aroma started off nice with some piney and citrusy hops and a little bit of malt in background. That aroma faded and so did the rating. The palate was rather dry for an IPA, thin and had some harsh carbonation. The flaovr just wasn’t there at all, it just seemed to be harsh and bitter. Even though this is cheap your still better off passing.

Jun 20, 2007 Nice aroma, very hoppy w/some citrus. The appearance had an appealing orange color. Thin to medium mouthfeel. Overall a good beer. IPA’s are not my favorite type of beer, but this is very good for this type.

Jun 18, 2007 Very nice head when poured. Like the amber color with orange hints. Very nice flavor that stays....Aroma is very subtle and leaves you guessing.

Jun 16, 2007 Aroma is hoppy but not too strong. Color is a clear dark amber with a fairly thick and persistent head. Taste is strongly hoppy, with malty undertones; I could not detect any other flavors. A refreshing and enjoyable IPA.

Jun 13, 2007 Small head and copper body. Needs to warm up a little to start getting some hops in the nose. Tasty hoppy flavor with some citrus. Smooth very drinkable IPA.

Jun 12, 2007 Pours a light orange color with a white head. Aroma is malty, fruity, with some hops. Flavor is malty, with a earthy bitter finish.

Jun 7, 2007 Surprised to see this in 22 oz. bottles at Fremont PCC Seattle. I have the 12 oz 2007 bottle, but have not yet tried it due to past experience. Given that, I was glad to sense an improvement in the 2007 22 oz brew. The flavor is like a double hop malt liquor. Balanced simple flavor.

Jun 5, 2007 Picked up a sixer of this for company and have enjoyed it so far. Nothing too remarkable about it - amber body, medium mouthfeel, moderate head - but it’s certainly anything but unassuming. Citrus nose and some breadiness don’t prepare you for an almost astringent feel towards the finish. It’s not anything that particularly gets in the way, but man does it taste a bit hot. Then again, maybe I have a mild bronchial infection.
