| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 20, 2006 Had at the Mad mex on mcknight road in pittsburgh on draft. Poured a deep amber copper color, slighty hazy, with a good amount of froathy white head. Flavor was very hoppy and abrasive. The hops aren’t very citrusy, rather they are very bitter, no doubt a high ibu. This beer could definitely benefit from sitting and mellowing a while. Overall, just so so. Lots of hops and citrus flsvors. Well balanced with a nice deep copper color and little head and some lacing. There was some bitterness after each drink. This IPA to me was better than the average score. This is a drink that makes you wonder why people drink Coors Light. brownaler (379), Topsail Beach, North Carolina, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 13, 2006 Orange-red appearance with a samll head. Has a very sharp hop bite without any malt to back it up. I like this brewery for making good beers at a cheap price, but this one doesn’t hit the mark for me. kfarrnd (112), Oldsmar, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 7, 2006 12 oz. bottle. Pours out a cloudy amber with a thin off white head. Aroma is mostly grapefruit and hops. Flavor is medium pine and hops with a fairly decent malt backbone. Slightly thin on the palate, but complex enough to merit a better than average rating. A middle of the road IPA.
