Pours a reddish brownish colored body, clear. Average creamy whitish color head okay lacing, lasting. Malty hoppy sweet aroma, some effervescence, but a lot of sickly sweetness. Weak taste. Hoppiness and some bitterness. Some malty sweetness too. A little bitterness on the end, but a clean aftertaste. Carbonated mouthfeel. Some light fruitiness too. hogan873 (334), Joliet, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 2, 2009 Honey-colored body with a very thin white head. Aroma is light for an IPA. Some caramel malt and the typical floral and citrus hops. Bright and carbonated up front dissolving to an oily finish on the tongue. The flavor is more present and potent than the aroma. THere’s just a bit of caramel malt sweetness at first. That is quickly pushed aside by bitter grapefruit and pine hops. Almost too much, but it fades rapidly to just a little bitter aftertaste. Not a bad IPA, but there are better ones out there. blutt59 (2146), Dallas, Texas, USA
