Thanks to Degarth. Pours dark amber, small white head. Big sweet malty flavor, maybe even some slight chocolate malt in there. The hops seem sweet, grapefruity, and slight piney, that take over all other flavors. Very balanced and not too over the top ecspecially at 9%, not for me but right on with the style.

Bright golden colour with a white head. The nose is citrusy and a bit resiney with hints of orange peel. The body is very hoppy and just a little sweet with malt. Resiney with some orange peel notes. A nice hoppy IPA, solid malt, good delicious drinking.

Pours a nice red body with sticky foam head. The aroma is nice citrus and pine hops with a touch of pineapple backed up by a smooth caramel malt. I’m not usually a big fan of Mendocino beers, but this one hits the spot.

12oz - thanks goldtwins - Aroma pine and citrus hops with a strong carmel back. Pours transparent copper with small head and decent lacing. Flavor is hoppier than aroma, but still rather malty Floral and cirtus hops breakthrough. Palate is tart and crisp. Not bad.

Cold 12oz bottle: Pours a clear amber with a small amount of white bubbles. Aroma is of pine and hops with hints of orange. Taste is quite bitter with some sweet malt and citrus notes. Slick. Moderately bitter ending, softened by the sweet malt.

Bottle: Clear orange with a thin white head, deep resiny pine with some citrus in the aroma, starts and ends very bitter, full bodied with a chewy oily mouthfeel. Yum!

12 oz bottle 2005-06 Nose of hops and a little fruit, deep amber with a small beige head. Flavor had lots of hop bitterness, with a light citrus twist. Good but not close to my favorites Hopsicle and Double Simcoe!

on tap-pours a creamy white head with light gold color. Aroma is lots of citrus hops. Taste is slick mouthfeel, lots of citrus hops, second malt. Full 2IPA isn’t my style, this is just into the 2IPA style, so I still enjoyed it.
