| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 1, 2006 Updated: Mar 26, 2009On tap at Olde Saratoga Brewing Co. Poured clear golden. Small, lasting head. Fruit flavours abound in nose and taste. Very dry, bitter finish. Can’t taste the 9% alcohol. Highly recommended, a shame this is just seasonal.
Update: There was a rumour this is now brewed more often than seasonally, but seems to be inconsistently available. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 29, 2006 Updated: Jul 7, 2006Thanks to Degarth for this one. Pours deep coppery with 2-finger off-white head. Big hop and tropical fruit aroma, with a big caramel malty presence and more piney notes. The taste is very hoppy, but dominated by tropical fruit, including mangoes, tangerine, honeydew, and pineapple. Wonderfully complex taste, and the palate is dense and smooth. This one is outstanding! heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA

The body is a nice amber with a thick and slightly off white head. The aroma is sweet with some caramel and a bit of light grapefruit. There is also some fresh bread. The taste is fairly bitter with some grapefruit and toasted toffee in the finish. Finishes clean and warming. This is nice and drinkable, nice ot have a IIPA that isn’t jsut completely over the top, but mayeb it was hoppier when fresh. slang (406), Columbia, South Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 18, 2006 Bottled. A very mild, in every manner, rep. of the style. Not much nose or bite. Good, but too mild. eaglefan538 (2399), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 9, 2006 Not a homerun within style, but a nice example. The pour was clear amber with a nice head that sustained itself well and provided really nice lacing around the glass. The aroma was of pine and grapefruits. The flavor followed suit over top of a caramel malt base. The mouthfeel was moderately bodied and a bit sticky. JCapriotti (1378), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 2, 2006 Clear ruby. Frothy off-white head with nice lacing. Peppered citrus grapefruit aroma.
Rindy citrus... nice hop character. Orange soda. Nice brown sugary caramel hints in the background. Pretty good, but typical.
