Dec 23, 2006 Bottle. A hazy amber beer with a fine off-white head. The aroma is very sweet with strong notes of hops and caramel. The flavor is sweet with lots of hops and grapefruit, and an alcohol presence, that bites the tongue, leading to a very bitter end.

Dec 23, 2006 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with a small, off-white head. Somewhat fat aroma of caramel malt and aroma hops. Fairly solid body with plenty of caramel and some potent if slightly perfumy aroma hoppiness. A dose of bitterness rounds this off. Decent but far from outstanding. Courtesy of Degarth. 191206

clear dark amber, thin off white head, dripping lace, sweet grapefruit aroma, big body, lots of citrus hop flavor on a balancing sweet carmel malt base, long tongue scraping bitter finish, fatigues after a while, drinks more like an IPA as the imperial quality and 9% is well hidden

Feb 11, 2006 Hazy amber colour. The aroma is all hop - citrusy, foresty. Rich earthy hop character, too. Tasty enough because I love hops, but not especially balanced nor dynamic.

Jan 15, 2006 (12oz bottle) Crystal clear amber body with small white head. Aroma is medium sweet, strong grapefruit, some caramel/toffee. Taste is medium sweet, strong grapefruit, some caramel, light herbal. Medium body, light resin, alcohol well hidden.

Feb 28, 2007 12oz bottle acquired in trade with ughsmash (thanks!). Poured a medium and slightly hazy orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, pine, lightly earthy, toasted malts and light caramel. Tastes of citrus, melons, grapefruit, caramel and toffee. Light alcohol finish.

Dec 2, 2005 Bottle... Clear, orange ale with a small, fizzy, off-white head. The nose is all about syrupy pine cones, white pepper and tropical fruit. The flavor is well-balanced with a rich, malt backbone supporting a generous helping of bitter, spicy hops. Full-bodied with a lightly creamy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Finishes mostly bitter. Very nice offering!
