Copper pour with a big hop aroma. Lots of citrus in the nose and flavor, with just a hint of herbal/floral character. Big bitter hop finish. Nicely balanced malt body, though. Very nice.

Bottle. Pours orange amber with a thin head. Sweet hoppy aroma, with citrus fruits. The flavor is more on the floral hop side, light citrus, and just enough malt to balance. Pretty good, easy to drink, but below average for a IIPA.

Bottle from ucusty. The aroma is a nice mixture of grapefruit and pine combined with a bit of sweet caramel malt. Pours a bright golden amber with a thin lasting head. The flavor is also nice and hoppy. Grapefruit and pine initially are followed by sweet caramel malts. The hops come back and ride it out to the finish. Lots of lingering pine resins on the palate. Long bitter finish. Unexpectedly nice. Extremely quaffable. I would drink this often if available.

Pours a clear light honey color. Aroma of Hops and Cherries…yes cherries. Strong initial taste of hops. For some reason, I taste a hint of cherry. I doubt anyone else will get that. Maybe my tastebuds are off tonight. Bitter hops finish. Not bad, but aftertaste is a bit strong...not in such a good way.

Pours amber with a decent sized off white head. Aroma is grapefruit like citrus and sweet malt. Taste is bitter grapefruit hops and a little sweet malt, with a big bitter finish as well. Not really big for an "imperial" IPA, but still very good, especially considering the price.

Beer appearance is a nice amber color with a small head that dissapates quickly. The aroma is citrusy and piney. The flavor is of bitter hops, with a little of the sweet malt coming through. The finish doesn’t linger too long and leaves the mouth feeling clean. This beer is very drinkable at 7.5% ABV and on the scale of imperial IPA’s, this one is not as big as many of the others in its class. Overall a solid tasting beer.

Thanks 17thfloor! Pours clear dark golden brown with a fluffy white head. Aroma is rich citrus hops with some nice grapefruit and pineapple notes. Pretty fresh and floral hop resins. Flavor starts with a nice sweet grapefruit taste and starts to gain a slight bitter edge but then drops off before it gets too bitter and stays very sweet with some caramel and toffee. Doesn’t finish with much of a hit as it sort of stays sweet and trickles off into a light crisp taste. Medium body and moderate carbonation. I’d definitely say this is a nice IPA for those who hate a lot of bitterness.
