Aug 13, 2008 [1536-20080719] Tap. Mild apple fruit aroma. Slightly hazy, yellow body with small quick foamy white bubbles. Bland wheatgerm flavour. Light body has a slight tang. Fair.

Apr 26, 2008 On tap- Served to me a deeper gold with a thin white fizzy cap, leaving no real lace. Nose of straw and somewhat fruity pale malts with a hearty dose of grains and grass. Sweetish grainy flavour is pleasing, some fruity almost citrus taste leads into grassy, biscuity hops bitterness in the end. Clean and sessionable, though pretty mainstream. Quite enjoyable after the strawberry beer.

Sep 19, 2007 A blonde ale with a thin white head. A grainy seltzer aroma, rather mineral. In mouth, lightly sweet malt again very mineral, light and unchallenging. Watery bodied. Enough said. On tap at brewery, July 28 2007.

Aug 19, 2007 On tap at the brewpub. Medium yellow, decent sized white head. Decent grainy aroma, light malt. Taste follows suit, again decent graininess, fresh, light. Simple, kinda boring, but compared to other usually boring brewpub lagers/light ales, this isn’t too bad.

Jan 1, 2006 Draught at the Merchant Ale House. Pale golden colour with a tiny head. Aroma is mild but not unpleasant - a bit bready with straw-like hop notes. Taste is fresh but bland - light sweet malt, a slight fruitiness, minimal hops in the finish. Does what it’s supposed to do, I guess, but it’s just not my style.

Dec 31, 2005 Updated: Jan 26, 2006Draught. At Merchant Ale House, shared with jerc and GregClow. Poured slightly oily and cloudy gold, no head. Aroma almost oily, thin candyish malt, wheat - sweet, but not bad. Taste - nothing new here, light, sweet, a bit harsh on warming. Ehh - at least no corn or adjuncts.

Oct 10, 2005 On tap at the Merchant Ale House. Golden yellow in colour, thin non-lasting white head, no lace. The aroma was of floral hops, some grains, grassy, slightly sweet. The flavour was of lemon zest, apple skins, grass, light floral hops. Clean mouthfeel, light body, meduim carbonation. Finishes fairly quick, slightly sweet.
