Aroma of musty hazelnuts & almonds. Thin body. Artificial hazelnut flavour dominates (much like flavoured coffee). Otherwise not much else going on. Cloying. daboskabouter (1470), Fergus, Ontario, Canada

Hazlenutty, but a more almondy aroma with some chocolate, similar to chocolate covered almonds. The body is rather sweet with nutty notes, again mostly almonds. Spritzy and ending sweet with malt and a touch of iron. Not too bad, but a touch sweet and really too nutty and spritzy for its own good. dhurtubise (568), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

It is a brown ale base with hazel nut extract in abundance. In fact that is about all I could taste from the beer aside from a healthy dose of residual sweetness.
