ciderguy (97), Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 18, 2003 The scent is pure cider. The smell of cool pressed apples in wooden barrels. The pour was surprisingly dark. Deeper than its Special Dry counterpart. Mild foam on pour but little to nothing after that. Taste was well above their Dry variety. Solid, biting, thick, with some weight to it. Aftertaste was sweeter than their sweetest offering. Almost makes you pucker. A great effort on their part. Worth trying. Thanks to mutant for the hookup.

RichieB213 (1), Australia does not count Feb 15, 2008 Very pale appearance, nice aroma, sweet and very very drinkable. Tastes great after a hard day lawnmowing/wippersnipping or just a hard day! Thylacine (179), Tasmania, Australia Oct 6, 2007 Clear and pale with medium carbonation. Simple in flavour - (sweet apples) Crisp and refreshing. jkm (153), Australia Oct 6, 2007 Pale yellow and highly carbonated. Quite sweet and very drinkable. Crisp sweet finish and aftertaste. Quite nice! motelpogo (4111), Plzen, Czech Republic Apr 27, 2006 bottled. had a few swigs from the missus’ glass the other night. actually not that bad for a mass market cider, plenty of typical apple juice flavour, some hint of green skin and not too much of that random alcohol flavour that infects strongbow. tasted a bit like drinking cottee’s apple cordial straight from the bottle as i have done on a couple of ocassions and then some token tartness in the finish
