Deep gold colour. Still. Really spicy nose with loads of nutmeg and cinammon and sweet apple. Flat body...not just still but dead and oily with no vibrancy at all. Sweet, no trace of those lovely spices, just bland sweet apple must and a hint of tartness at the back. Jeez, that really fell apart.

(Draught) Deep golden body with a strong acidic nose. The flavour was terribly acidic and dry with a somewhat thin and watery finish. Dry overall. My least favourite.

I had this at the cidery and I have only one complaint... if you are going to try to sell people beer, wine, cider, whatever, wouldn’t you want all of them served in a way that presents them at their very best? All the ciders at the winery were served in thick coloured glass tumblers, so colour and aroma were very hard to assess. Also, most of the ciders were at ~18 degrees C, which is way too warm. Those complaints aside, everything I’ve ever had at home has been wonderful, so here goes. Pale yellow colour, aroma of apples, horseblanket. Very dry flavour with some buttery notes, oaky. Clean finish. Alcohol was also obvious at the high temperature that this was served at.
