Commercial Description:
With its sweet and rich taste, Cyser is a favourite of sherry drinkers and an excellent aperitif or dessert drink. Cyser is a traditional blend of pure vintage apple juice and wildflower honey, combined in a slow fermentation process that dates back to the Viking days.

Very fizzy gold with a white head. Aroma is strong honey and red apples, cinnamon. Taste is very sweet with an apple accent, light spiciness. Simple but very good. Body is silky.

355 ml bottle courtesy Capflu. Slightly hazy bright golden colour with a light but quickly diminishing sparkle. Honey, apple, cinnamon, spice, caramel, and floral aroma with just a touch of alcohol. Spiced honey and apple blend of flavours with an almost “hot” cinnamon finish. Full bodied, smooth, with just enough carbonation to keep it from being syrupy. Not sure how this ranks in the world of cysers, but a pleasant sweet sipper nonetheless.

Sweet, light apple and honey aroma with strong alcohol notes. Pours a very light yellow, nearly white. No visible froth or head. Tastes of light apple and present honey. At no point is this ever bitter or sour. A bit bland. Body is thin and low in carbonation, not too exciting. Overall, a pleasant cider, my first at ratebeer.

Hazy, alarmingly luminous yellow colour. Fresh apple aroma with light nutmeg and clover or alfalfa honey. Sweet, sugary apple notes with a little spice. Refreshing, with very little evident alcohol and a much softer character than the Scrumpy.

On tap at GCBF. Colour was nice honey yellow with a slight greenish tinge. Smells like honey...but with a light floralishness. (good word, huh?) Tastes very sweet, but tart apple flavour scrubs any unpleasant sweetness off the tongue. Yummy crabapple finish. Surprisingly light and refreshing, aided by high carb. Woody aftertaste. A bit of a carbonic acid bite. Nice. Worth another go round.

(Draught) Sampled at the Merridale Cidery. Thin, white head with a slightly clouded yellow-green tinge. Nose is acidic and sweet. Very sweet in flavour with a mellow wateriness. Good.

Golden straw colored with a sweet farmy alcohol apple aroma. Flavour is sweet apple and alcohol, quite nice.
