Bottle courtesy of mgermani. Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells like apple juice, acetone, some light booziness, spice. Tastes tarte with some dry apple hints and a light spicy finish.

Pours a clear golden yellow with a light ring of foam. Lovely sweet apple aroma. Sweet, generically pleasant apple cider taste - very drinkable, sweet and not too dry. Good carbonation. Probably one of the most quaffable ciders I’ve had yet.

Nice gold with no head. Aroma is light vinegar, apple, apple syrup, brown sugar. Taste is red apples, lightly acidic, almost a kombucha accent to it.

Plastic bottle. Barnyard and ripe banana nose (strangely enough). Pale golden, plentifull big bubbles. Very dry body, straw, bananapeel again, brown sugar. After giving it a bit time it blends together. Applebarrel retronasal. Dry herbal finish. Fresh and interresting enough.

1 L bottle courtesy Capflu. Golden amber colour with a light carbonation producing a thin and fully diminishing fizzy white head. Pleasant sweet and tart apple aroma with cinnamon notes. Canned apple juice is the first thing that comes to mind in the flavour, with more of the “hot” cinnamon candy flavour I’ve found in the other Merridales and a brown sugar sweetness to finish. Light to medium bodied, prickly and lightly sticky mouthfeel. Pleasant and refreshing but unexciting.

On tap at Swan’s. Golden colour with gentle carbonation. The aroma is appley but a little rotten. I get this in cider sometimes. I don’t think they use rotten apples so I’m curious what this is. The flavour is a combination of esters, higher alcohols and wood. Light, very juicy, sweet apple character. Soft, sugary, almost dessertlike finish. If you can get past the nose it’s a perfectly drinkable pub cider.

(341ml bottle) Pours a lightly carbonated, deep golden body. The nose is dry and mildly medicinal. I enjoy the dry, fizzy, sour flavour as there is really no sweetness to this cider. Abvoe average.

Pale golden in color with a dry apple aroma. Simple apple flavour, quite dry and tart.
