On tap-Messrs, A small enough but creamy head, aromatic, flowery almost sweet hop, pleasant roast flavour, caramel and vanilla, slightly copperish, lacking body, but enjoyable

Aug 9, 2008 Clear red brown coloured beer with some very little carbonation and an average creamy white head. Fruity sweet caramel (strawberry?) aroma. Full palate. Finish is light bitter fruity with a light yeasty ending. Nice one.

Jul 9, 2008 (Draught at the brewpub on 2008-07-02) Copper coloured and clear. Medium-sized dense white head. Metallic malty nose. Medium palate with little carbonation. Metallic taste. Also, malts, some sweetness, lightly hops, some caramell and hint of liquorice. Still not good.

Jun 17, 2008 On tap at Messrs Maguire in Dublin. Pours a deep ruby, copper red with a creamy, thick white head. Nose is sweet, malty, slight spice and a little metal. Flavor is sweet, bready with some cookie dough. Creamy on the tongue and easy to drink.
