Quack-Duck (1609), Bodensee, Germany May 15, 2008 bottle. Clear amber colour, small head. Very aromatic and perfumy nose, fruity and sweet. Medium-bodied with solid hoppy flavours and a pleasant fruity touch (cranberries). Malty background. Quite nice, actually.
pivnizub (3600), Porúří, Germany Jul 15, 2008 Bottle (thanx to Quack-Duck!): Golden to deep golden, smaller, quite creamy head, distinctive malty and caramelly nose; sweetish (pale-malty) flavour, light to medium bodied; hoppy and malty influences in the shorter finish. Not a drainpour............ mgoy (263), Oak Brook, Illinois, USA Mar 15, 2008 I sampled Biere de Printemps at Culture Biere in Paris. The beer is a clear yellow and the head is initially robust but soon fades. The aroma was slightly hoppy and the taste was slightly malt with a bit of a bitter ending. Bland beer. General_Gao (2357), Iowa City, Iowa, USA May 20, 2007 Draft. Poured a clear golden color. The head was bubbly, white, and left a bit of lace behind. Aroma was of light noble hops. Dry and very light bodied with a cardboardy note. I tasted a bit of malty caramel accented by some grassy hops. There was a hint of hop bitterness at the end. Hildigöltur (5051), København Ø, Denmark May 8, 2007 Draught, somewhere in Paris. Amber coloured. Some hops and floral notes in the aroma. Fresh and rather hoppy flavour with a floral and fruity touch. Not bad.
