clear gold coloring with areally nice white lacey head, hoppy malt aroma, bubble gummy, watery finish but is a little hoppy, great carbonation, very refreshing on a hot day, lemon bite, I love the labels that this brewery uses, I think i’ve bought this sixer before just because it was hot out and i wished I had been fishing all day, true story

Close to the delicious Sweetwater 420 Ale in its tangy bitterness on the back of the roof of your mouth; something that takes one or two beers to figure out, then you’re "hooked". Bought one to try and will definately look for it when on sale at Albertson’s.

Amber with a light head and sparse lacing. Nice and hoppy, I’m detecting one of those ’C’ hops. Light malt back. Slightly citrus, some pine. Grapefruit flavors, more citrus hops, and some bubblegum. Bitter finish balanced with a malty body.

Amber color with white head, some lace. Hoppy aroma, present but not assertive with malt balance. The flavor is lightly bitter with a more dry & unbalanced finish. Some PNW hoppiness but that’s where the fun ends.

Ok after some research learnt this "brand" Metolius is the Albertson's house brand brewed by Portland Brewery. Ok comes in a 12 oz brown bottle..pic of a "brookie" trout jumping on label. The beer itself is respectable enough looking ..nice clear amber clour with a small white head..a little lacing. Good fresh malty aroma..quite pleasant. Tatse ius sweet malts to begin then later a nice spicy hoppiness appears. Quite average on the palate..too watery and thin. Drinkable enough ..but for the price of other better pales why would you bother?
