Thin and somewhat harsh. Light sweet malts fail to create a nice light, sweet flavor, although they are detectable. Kind of bitter, and not in a very good way. Not a good example of a blond.

Aroma is fine, very yellow color. Flavor is really pretty nice. Some hops, a good amount of lift. Not amazing of course, but certainly better than what’s given (probably because of the aroma scores-really nothing bad in the aroma). A poor light finish.

These Metolious beers are basically macro brews hiding themselves among the micros. I’d honestly rather drink Henry Weinhard’s than this stuff, and that’s saying a lot. Thin, watery, tastes like a Coors Light. Don’t do it.

This is from the mix pack and purchased from Albersons for whom it is made. It poured from a the 12 oz bottle a very clear yellow with a medium whtie head and light lacing. Nose of light pale malts and a very mild floral hops Mouthfeel is very light and watery. Flavor is grainy and kind of like a Coors. Not much in the finish. This is a very bland brew with not much going on. Not very much to like here. Should appeal to those who like macroswill.

A drinkable blonde ale. Golden straw yellow in color with a white frothy big bubbly head. Aroma of corn and sugary malt, some subtle hops. Flavor is sweet, yet light enough that it isn’t too heavy. Good, not a beer I really would crave.

Bottle. A boring brew. The head was gone in 12 seconds. A little hop, a little skunk, a little funk.

12 oz. bottle. Bud color with Bud head. Aroma is really light citrus. Near medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is musty, dusty, maybe citrus hop. Not very bitter. Maybe it will grow on me. The finish is not much of an improvement on the start. Has an odd flavor aspect. Why did they bother?

pours a clear yellow with a thin white head. smell is stunky, grain, some citrus. taste is funky, grainy, corn, dry leaves, some citrus, slight bitter, ends dry, a bit of a metallic aftertaste.
