Mar 20, 2009 Far and away the best beer in the mix pack from Albertsons this poured a clear amber with a small white head and light lacing. Nose of citrus hops but fairly mild. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor of caramel malts and floral and citrus hops, and light bitter finish. A very average IPA.

Mar 19, 2009 Pours orange-copper with a half-inch head. Aroma is vaguely of hops and that’s it. Flavor’s not bad: Has the usual grapefruit and hops in abundance, though not much complexity. Mouthfeel is medium, both in viscosity and carbonation. I can dig it. Not great, but decent. Overall, good.

Feb 8, 2009 Clear, golden amber with a large frothy off-white head. Head is slowly but mostly diminshing, leaving decent lacing. Very light pine and caramel aroma, bordering on bland. Metallic (copper) flavor, some earthy hops and cookie malts underneath the metallic mess. Tea leaf finish with some resinous hops and stale malt. Nicely bodied, I’ll give it that, but that’s about all it has going for it.

Feb 1, 2009 A decent IPA. Balanced, but more dry back of the throat bitterness, than sweet citrusy bitterness. A bold beer, but maybe not bold in the right way. Amber in color, a big foamy head, decent, but far from the best.

Dec 25, 2008 22oz. Crisp copper pour with pillow head. very neat and clean. nose of sweet pine, very fresh. taste is a touch soapy but with good sharp citrus. chewy spicy orange. good malty mouth. bitter finish, not big but nice enough flavor.

Dec 23, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear dark gold with a lacy white head. Earthy aroma with a touch of citrus hay and toffee. Light, watery body and medium carbonation. A bit of citrus and toffee in the taste, Lingering pine finish. Not bad, but probably not the beer that open your eyes to the wonderfulness of IPA.

Nov 28, 2008 Not much aroma. First impression isn’t that strong, but this grows on you. Not aggressive, but a nice flavor that gets a bit more bitter as it goes along. Good stuff.
