Bright amber appearance with a small white head and modest lacing. Initial whiff was sweet caramel, but then lost focus. Bitter, citrusy hop taste with little malt backbone. Light-to-medium bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel with a short lived finish. (one idiosyncratic point added to the overall for having a trout on the label)

Found this at Jewel. There’s something wrong here. Chemical, stale aroma. Taste is very thin, with a strong bitterness that is more chemical than hoppy. Seems like instead of actual hops they used some sort of extract, and it didn’t turn out well. It looks intriguing, but AVOID.

Bottle from Albertson’s. Light amber in color. Light hop aroma. A little bit of sweetness as well. Decent citric hoppiness. A little spicy. Drinkable example but nothing special.

Bottle. Pours a fairly clear gold with a touch of red/orange. nice thick white head and laces well. Nose is weak but has a hint of hop flowers and grass. Taste is very mild with some citrus and hopiness on the front of the tongue a bit of bitterness on the sides. finishes bitter and clean in the back of the tongue. Not horrid but something i’ll buy again either.

Bottle: Fiery orange in color, quite clear, moderate frothy off-white head, fairly nice lacing.   Wet hop nose, silghtly cardboardish, perhaps a little bit of cat urine.   Not what I would call the best smelling IPA.   It also has that old lady Perm aroma.   You know, the crap they put in old ladies hair.   Flavor has quite a bit of citrus rind in it, that white astringent bitter aspect of an orange.   Body and mouthfeel are fairly average.   Finishes with that astringent orange rind.   I just wished this had a bit more floral aspect to it.   It seems a little abrasive from start to finish.   Lingering orange rind like flavors.   Just not enough of the lovely floral hop bitterness that I’ve come to enjoy from most decent IPA examples.

Bottle from Albertson’s in Coeur d’Alene, ID. Pours a decent amber color with nice head. Smells of ctirus and grapefruit. Has a good hop bite with light malt but not dry still has a slight sweetness of the hops. I like this beer. Too bad it’s not sold in Texas. I could have this as an everyday "lighter" IPA which still has a very good hop flavor.
