Not much aroma. First impression isn’t that strong, but this grows on you. Not aggressive, but a nice flavor that gets a bit more bitter as it goes along. Good stuff.

22oz. Crisp copper pour with pillow head. very neat and clean. nose of sweet pine, very fresh. taste is a touch soapy but with good sharp citrus. chewy spicy orange. good malty mouth. bitter finish, not big but nice enough flavor.

Bottle from Albertson’s in Coeur d’Alene, ID. Pours a decent amber color with nice head. Smells of ctirus and grapefruit. Has a good hop bite with light malt but not dry still has a slight sweetness of the hops. I like this beer. Too bad it’s not sold in Texas. I could have this as an everyday "lighter" IPA which still has a very good hop flavor.

Amber orange with a very thin white head. Aroma is orange zest, grapefruit, light hoppiness. Taste has a pretty nice citrus hop bite to it, followed by some honey. It’s decent.

Bottle from Enniskillen; nose of citrus and light hoppiness; orange-gold witha mediumoff-white head; flavor of oranges and hop bitterness which also is the finish. An average, medoiocre, but drinkable IPA. Beats Bud any day!

Bottle from my brother. I think he got it at Albertsons. Never heard of it before. Poured a nice looking clear amber color. Aroma of caramel, bread and citrus. Aroma wasn’t very strong. A pretty nice palate actually; quite soft and smooth. Not much of an IPA more like a fairly hoppy APA. A bit earthy, floral and citrus in the finish. Not overly bitter. A pretty solid balance there too. Wow; surprisingly decent beer.

My Bottom Line:
Resinous hops thrive atop lightly breaded caramel malts in this simple but efficient India Pale Ale.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the misty light amber.
-The resinous hop bitterness is lengthy even though the hop presence is not too talkative in the flavor profile.
-The malts offer some subtle biscuit notes too.
-I didn’t get anything wrong in this bottle, so I don’t really understand the very low marks.

Bottle.

(Rating #2538)
