Aroma of lightly sweet caramel toffee and a hint of piny hops. Starts with average fullness and decent toasty caramel malty sweetness and a mild bitterness with some effervescent carbonation before a slightly drier toasty finish. A pretty average and drinkable amber beer.

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 23, 2009 22. Pours a lightly hazy rubied medium amber with a dense creamy tan head that falls away quickly. Soon it’s headless, laceless, and looks flat. Woody, somewhat cedary nose. Kind of sweet smelling. Creamy medium body, seems a bit flat. Pencil shavings and graham crackers on the mid-palate, but staleness is definitely a factor. Mild, neutral sweet finish. BrewDad (2366), Olympia, Washington, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 1, 2009 22 oz bottle on sale at supermarket for $1.50. Couldn’t pass it up for a tick at that price. I mean, come on, a buck fidy for 22oz? Hazy amber orange with an off-white head, in a glass that cost more than the beer, and it’s a cheap glass. Orange, peach, yeast, and some spice hints, like nutmeg. Solid gooey lace. Taste is copper penny, bandaid, maybe some malt, maybe not. Frick man, for a buck fidy, I got ripped off. Well, maybe not quite ripped off, but I definitely got what i paid for on this one. Bleh. Drainpour in my near future. I wonder if the disposal will refuse to work afterwards. satan165 (575), River Grove, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 26, 2009 not far off from the commercial description: malt is forefront as expected and character is far from the cloying sweet trash i expected from a no-name such as this. it is in fact carrying a bit of toasted character and remains at the center of the flavor but does well to stand strong in that position with a fair amount of balance. not bad for a style i do not often enjoy. puboflyons (602), New Hampshire, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 11, 2009 From the 650 ml. bottle with no obvious lot code or expiration date. It pours a cloudy rusty-copper with thin off-white head. The aroma was of sweetness and malt/bitter hops. The is more on the bitter side but not unpleasant by any means. It ends with a slightly dry hop finish. jaymobrown (1354), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 26, 2009 This was fine. I think it was a couple of bucks for a bigger bottle. Amber color with some white head. Malt, cereal, yeast, some hops. Fairly watery. If you’re biking around the city and want to grab a quick beer for back home before bed, this is fine.
