Nice golden amber body with a cream colored head. Aroma is a bit hoppy with a little bit of malty sweetness. Smooth and creamy up front with some caramel, malt, and tea evident. Finishes a bit bitter with a slightly metallic aftertaste. Not a bad brew, but nothing to write home about.

Good intro to Amber ales if you aren’t familiar. Not very memorable though. Middle of the row, I’d say.

pours a amber with a small light tan head, some lacing. smell has a roastiness, malt, touch of molasses, some nuts. taste is thick, funky, sweet up front, stale malt, some citrus, slight caramel in the back, some metallic aftertaste.

Amber with a white head. Malty aroma with caramel and a light hoppiness. Taste is malty, caramel, tea with a light hoppiness. One of the better pure amber’s I’ve had, suprisingly it’s from pyramid.

Pleasantly surprised. I had never heard of Metolius before. I often try new ale’s when i see them and often don’t expect much. Very smooth and flavorful. Good BEER!
