The color is dark-golden and the head is nice and creamy. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel and a touch of nuts. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of malt, caramel, a little nuts and the finish is slightly dry and slightly bitter. It’s pleasant, but not outstanding.

(bottle) Almost clear, deep golden colour with a fluffy but not very persistent off-white foamy head. Sweet cara-malty aroma, slightly bready and nutty with a whiff of herbal hops. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Cara-malty, slightly chalky and nutty taste with light herbal accents; moderately dry, bitter and slightly sweet finish with a light herbal hops character. Unspectacular but pretty drinkable Märzen.

Bottle (beim Juniorchef gekauft): Deep golden, bigger frothy yellowish head, moderately sweet, a bit bready nose with a nutty touch; light to medium bodied, moderate bitter-sweet flavour; moderate, as well, bitter-caramelly finish with some nutty traces in the aftertaste. Nothing wrong with it..........

Bottle, bought at the brewery. Light amber color. Apricot and some hops in the aroma. Medium bodied. Sweetish and malty with apricot and mandarin. Light hopbitter and fruity aftertaste. Not very special, no outspoken flavors, but a nice and easy going festbier.
