Commercial Description:
Brewed especially for the "hop-heads" of the world, this old style India Pale Ale has over 4 pounds of hops per barrel of beer. Developed in England, this style of beer was shipped to troops in India in the 1800's. The intense hopping helped preserve the beer for the long journey. The alcohol content is 6.7%.

Sampler at M&P. All I wrote down was awful. I dont think I even finished it and it was just a sampler. The equipment is bad or something.

Tap at Rose and Raindrop. Clear, deep amber colored with light red hues. Good dense white head leaves a coating, foamy lacing behind. Light citrus hop aroma with just a touch of caramel. Medium bodied. Malty with a light sweetness. Very solid hop bitterness that approaches harsh but doesn’t quite cross that line. Lingering bitterness. Fair, would benefit with a good dry hopping.

Sampled draught at Mia & Pias Tap Room, Klamath Falls
Copper color, light sticky head, well retentive too. Nose of grapefruit & light citrus, fruity melons & malt blend. The flavor is excellent, the hops, sweetness, body & alcohol all take turns in a kaleidoscope of flavors. Finishes smooth, clean (surprisingly). decent.

Dark amber with a foamy head and good lacing. Butter and slighly sour nose. Diacetyl! Meh. Bitter, orange and mango hops. No butter thankfully. Malts are backing fairly well. Medium body with a bitter tail. The nose fails here, but the flavors help out a bit.

Tap@Mia and Pias. Heavy long and sticky palate. Loads of lychee, woody pine. Too sweet and sticky. I still probably underated it.

They claim to use four pounds of hops per barrel and that hoppiness is present through out the cascade accented brown colored brew.
