| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 5, 2005 Tap at Rose and Raindrop. Clear, deep amber colored with light red hues. Good dense white head leaves a coating, foamy lacing behind. Light citrus hop aroma with just a touch of caramel. Medium bodied. Malty with a light sweetness. Very solid hop bitterness that approaches harsh but doesn’t quite cross that line. Lingering bitterness. Fair, would benefit with a good dry hopping. BückDich (4851), McCall, Idaho, USA

Nose of grapefruit & light citrus, fruity melons & malt blend. The flavor is excellent, the hops, sweetness, body & alcohol all take turns in a kaleidoscope of flavors. Finishes smooth, clean (surprisingly). decent. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA

Bitter, orange and mango hops. No butter thankfully. Malts are backing fairly well. Medium body with a bitter tail. The nose fails here, but the flavors help out a bit.
