Malty with intensive hoppy flavours and hints of roasted malt, and a touch of alcohol. pivnizub (3768), Porúří, Germany Nov 17, 2007 Bottle (purchased at the brasserie): Copper coloured, mid-sized and stable lacing off-white head, dryish malty nose with a tinge of molasses and fruity-toasted-malty influences; light to moderate bitter-sweetish, almost dryish, flavour, flavour, relatively light bodied for a beer of 5.7% ABV; faint sweetish-malty finish, becoming dryer towards the delicate bitter end. Quite good, malt-accented Kellerbier........... MoritzF (3690), Ruhrpott, Germany Jun 28, 2007 (bottle) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet and toasty malty aroma with caramel, liquorice and light citrus-fruity notes, combined with herbal, slightly woody hops. Sweet toast-malty taste with caramel and bread crust-like impressions; medium bodied with a soft, very pleasant carbonation; finishes also malt-accented, toasty and slightly bitter with a bit liquorice-spice and soft notes of herbal hops. Aromatic and very quaffable dark malty Kellerbier.
