Michelob doesn’t make a sophisticated beer and they failed at this one too. Maybe added some food coloring to its flagship ultra light.
It’s bad, and a disgrace to legitimate bocks.

it’s got some hop-bitterness and a slight adjunct flavor but i seriously can’t find any malt in here.

Dec 19, 2009 Despite what seems to be the trend here, I think this is a pretty decent beer. It looks great and dark in the glass with a decent had that had good lacing. The taste of dark malt with just a little bitterness would good, despite there being little nose to it. I don’t mind having this occasionally, and it was clearly the best draft beer at Wing Stop when the only alternatives were Coors Light, Miller Lite, Michelob Ultra, and Bud Light.

Nov 25, 2009 Pours translucent red-brown. Mostly just very light nutty malt and bread. Pretty dilute relative to others.

Oct 16, 2009 12 oz. Pours a crystal clear dark brown with bright ruby highlights. Tall, frothy, smooth off-white head. Some stringy lacing. Some dark grainy rye-like sourness showing on the nose, a bit of toast and roast there as well. Not much, but a bit. Ultra-watery, light, flattish body. Very little carb showing or palpable. Mild dark grain flavors on the mid-palate, some slight sourness again. Neutral finish. Drinkable enough.
