Pours hazy yellow with a decent white head and a banana aroma. Lots of banana ester in the flavor, along with a slightly sour wheat taste. Not too bad for a wheat beer.

12 oz. bottle- Pours golden with almost no head, aroma is of yeast and wheat. The flavor is wheat and somewhat watered down, last night I had two authentic German hefe’s and there is no comparison, this beer is ok but not great.

12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy pale orange with a small white froth and large carbonation bubbles. Aroma is heavy wheat, banana, a bit gummy. A bit too sweet and sugary, but not wholly unpleasant. Flavor starts a bit stagnant, sweet and banana runts. Gains a bit of spiciness part way through with some wheat. Finishes smooth with hardly any bitterness. Medium body and soft carbonation. Not bad, just missing the complexity and zing

Pours a slightly hazed gold with a white head. Aroma is wheat, yeasts, spices, esthers. Flavor is wheat, yeasts, spices, esthers, touch of banana and fruit. Decent Hefe but a little on the boring side.

12 oz bottle. Smells of pepper, clove, banana. Pours hazy gold with a head which disappears extremely quick. Crap lacing. Taste is--wow--like a German Hefe. This is extremely surprising to me--this is AB, after all! Not bad. Medium carbonation, nice aftertaste. Other than the appearance and a slight carbonation problem, this is not a bad beer at all. A worthy attempt to make an authentically tasting Bavarian Hefe.

Sampler pack bottle pours hazy golden with a good bit of banana in the nose. Flavor is bubble gum, clove, tart wheat and banana. Decent attempt.

Bottle from sampler pack. Aroma is very mild, clove and sweet bananna. Pours hazy yellow, with mild carbonation, not much head. Flavors were bubblegum, mild hops, very smooth malts, a little sweetness at the finish. Goes down smooth and refreshing, nice on this mild fall afternoon. A nice wheat beer, but maybe too simple in it’s makeup.

Overall, not a bad effort by Michelob. Strong banana smell, pours golden yellow. Could not drink too many of these, glad it was part of a sampler.
