Commercial Description:
Michelob Celebrate Vanilla Oak features distinct vanilla, caramel and aged oak flavors for a full-bodied, well-balanced taste and warm aroma. Celebrate Vanilla Oak is brewed using two-row barley, caramel malts, carapils malts as well as imported hops. It is aged on whole vanilla beans and bourbon barrel oak. Ideally served with dessert or as an after-dinner drink, Celebrate Vanilla Oak is also enjoyed in a snifter, allowing the beer’s aromas to be intensified.

Weak head, but a touch of lacing. Nice deep color. A hint of earthiness in the aroma with some vanilla coming through. Smooth flavor but a touch of bitterness in the aftertaste. Pricy that takes away some of the enjoyment of it. I don’t expect to buy it again, but certainly will not turn it down if offered.

Light sweet nose, dark copper color, fizzy dissappating head. Creamy vanilla body with no bitter. Like cream soda. Soapy mouthfeel. Smooth at times, but just odd overall and not so enjoyable. Keep trying, A-B - this ain’t it.

I think this beer looked great in the glass and I liked the vanilla and sweet liquor smeel it has. Pored with no head at all. The beer is a clear copper color. A sort of weird vanilla taste with a candy feel too it. Has a sort of liquor overtone to it that cannot be placed. It also reminds me of cream soda. I was expecting more from this but at least AB is trying something different.

What a terrible terrible beer. Simply Awful. And to think, I was really looking forward to it, I thought it would be grand. Dead wrong. The vanilla does not compliment the rest of the beer at all. Every taste conflicted with itself.

Amber ruby color, no head. Nose of strong pale malts, almost like a russian strong ale it’s so much like a super sweet malt liquor. A bit of hay and dusty vanilla. The flavor is intense with vanilla and sweet plywood. If I was chugging mexican vanilla that had been soaking in particle board, it would probably taste better. The finish is long and sweet, strong carbonation and alcohol. The tail is syrupy. Yeah, I can see why no one likes this.

Light red-amber color, with almost no head. Vanilla and a little malt come through in the aroma.Vanilla taste with a heavy dose of ethanol that comes through in the taste and then permeates into the aroma as you imbibe so that it really doesn’t taste like beer. (almost as if you mixed some cheap vodka and vanilla into a light beer). Thanks to Enniskillen for this bottle too!

Clear amber color. Not dark as marketed. Screw top-you know you’ve got a top 50 beer now. Very thin soapy head. Dissipates quickly. Aroam of vanilla and plastic. Taste is heavy on the vanilla as if vanilla syrup were used; not beans. No taste of oak at all. Too carbonated. What else could one expect from Anheauser-Busch.
