Commercial Description:
Michelob Celebrate Vanilla Oak features distinct vanilla, caramel and aged oak flavors for a full-bodied, well-balanced taste and warm aroma. Celebrate Vanilla Oak is brewed using two-row barley, caramel malts, carapils malts as well as imported hops. It is aged on whole vanilla beans and bourbon barrel oak. Ideally served with dessert or as an after-dinner drink, Celebrate Vanilla Oak is also enjoyed in a snifter, allowing the beer’s aromas to be intensified.

Aroma is a battle between the vanilla and the malt liqour alcohol. Taste is very vanilla up fron too and some wood finishing w/the alcohol right there. Pretty good stuff but a little pricy. Cool bottle, like a rocket. Probably gets a little bit of a bad rap because it’s an attempt at a nice beer by Budweiser. Decent I thought.

Pours an amber with a creamy white head. Smells of chocholate and vanilla. Tastes like vanilla and chocholate, and aftertaste is almost like you just got done taking a shot of captain morgan.

Pours an attractive clear amber red, topped by a thin bubbly layer of foam. Spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of sugary vanilla. Lots of vanilla flavor, and not the cheapo vanilla extract either. A hint of charred oak. And then lots of sugar. And then that’s it. Lightish body, gentle carbonation. Not bad, but definately too much vanilla and too sweet for me.

Beautiful amber color. Some malt aroma. Strong lager, a bit malty, smooth enouth, with a light Bourbon vanilla flavor, more artificial than from the wood. Not bad.

Amber-red translucent body with pretty much no head and little lacing to speak of. Smell is dominated by vanilla with some wood/oak notes. Malty sweetness, vanilla, and hints of oak dominate the flavor. Light to medium bodied. On the lighter side of medium-bodied, really... Vanilla, oak, with some malt dominate the flavor. Not as drinkable as it could be. Reminds me in a lot of ways of Winter’s Burbon Cask Ale, More complexity with a little less vanilla and oak would make this beer but not quite as good. Worth the 9$ per bottle? Not sure, An okay beer anyway, but not sure I’d get it again.
