Commercial Description:
Michelob Celebrate Vanilla Oak features distinct vanilla, caramel and aged oak flavors for a full-bodied, well-balanced taste and warm aroma. Celebrate Vanilla Oak is brewed using two-row barley, caramel malts, carapils malts as well as imported hops. It is aged on whole vanilla beans and bourbon barrel oak. Ideally served with dessert or as an after-dinner drink, Celebrate Vanilla Oak is also enjoyed in a snifter, allowing the beer’s aromas to be intensified.

This beer pours a deep copper color with little to no head and has a very sweet barlywine like smell. The smell kinda reminds me of avery’s smael’s. Has a very sweet but strong vanilla flavor to it that really lingers... Say’s it’s 10% abv, but you don’t taste it... Actually it taste kinda thin. I expected a little more thickness after smelling it. all in all this beer is different. don’t know that I would buy this again. but might drink again if given to me! lol Cheers!

Vanilla and oak in the nose. Creamy caramel toffee and vanilla flavors with some wood and odd metallic notes creeping into the finish.

Pours medium amber, orange with clear body and thin bubbling white head. Smells like michelob with vanilla beans. Very vanilla flavor, sweet butter balance. Medium palate with a little bite in the finish.

Michelob Celebrate Vanilla Oak Bullet bottle (750 ml) Recent bottling, celebrated 12/06 Moderate pour into accompanying tulip glasses. Poured a clear dark amber with an average mostly diminishing head. Smelt of strong fake vanilla extract and faint bourbon. Taste was upfront strong sweet imitation vanilla followed by more sweet fake ’nilla, although more subdued and a light grain and bourbon oak bitterness. Palate was medium light to medium bodied, creamy, lively carbonated, lightly alcoholic. Overall, a sweet vanilla beer. Too sweet. It covers up any other taste that could be found, although I doubt there is much to uncover underneath. Bourbon oak taste seemed more present last year.

What a terrible terrible beer. Simply Awful. And to think, I was really looking forward to it, I thought it would be grand. Dead wrong. The vanilla does not compliment the rest of the beer at all. Every taste conflicted with itself.
