Commercial Description:
For centuries, brewmasters have used honey as an ingredient in beer to enhance a brew's naturally sweet, creamy flavor. Our Honey Lager is brewed in this tradition, using all natural honey and the finest barley malts for rich, smooth taste and a deep golden color.

This is one of the better honey beers out there in my opinion. Michelob does a really good job with this one.

It’s a little to sweet for my taste. Could use some more bitterness. Pours a golden color.

pours orange, thin white head. Aroma is light, honey. Flavor, honey comes out a lot, hints of caramel malts and sweetness. After a few sips, the honey aspect becomes just too one dimensional, leaving the beer to be dull and boring. The honey is reminiscent of medicinal aftertaste.

At first taste seems very biter but the aftertaste is of sweet honey. Not impressed with aroma or appearance but the aftertaste made up for that. An okay beer overall.

Bottle. Pours a pale body with a white head. Light honey, grain, corny vegetative notes and a thin light body. Not so good.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass Very sweet and tastes generic like the other Michelob craft selections. Just never really blown away by the stuff they make.

Sadly I kinda like this brew. Aroma is nothing fancy slight hint of sugar and malt. Flavor is what you would expect from a main stream commercial brewery’s attempt at a craft brew, carbonation, a little hops and malt and with this one a surgery honey tone. Overall I like this brew though, its not bad for hot afternoon.

On a Honey Beer kick so while in the US I picked up a 6 pack of this. Certainly needs to be chilled to drink in the Hot Texas weather. Its a standard American Commercial Lager, but for what it is worth they have done a reasonable job blending in the Honey flavour. Didn’t have any problem drinking the 6 pack with a friend. Has a fair degree of sweetness but I guess that is what you want in a honey beer, could use more malt and hop for me. But still a good drinkable commercial US beer if there is such a thing.
