bu11zeye (3572), Frisco, Texas, USA May 10, 2008 (Bottle) Pours a transparent pale golden amber with a spare white head. Aroma of grass, plastic, and grain. Flavor of lightly toasted grain and some grassy hops with a watery, thin mouthfeel.
MrBeerFanatic (185), jamestown, New York, USA Jul 16, 2008 For a light beer this one isn’t all that bad but "light" is the key word as to say it doesn’t have to much taste and much of a palate, as to be expected in most light beers. But this one is clean and somewhat smooth, not really being to watery as I would have expected. Still its nothing I would buy again. chandler0201 (88), Durham, North Carolina, USA Jul 6, 2008 A light beer with flavor? Absolutely shocking. This certainly will not rock your world, but you actually will taste something more than just water with this beer. Tastes like an amber beer should, but with about half the effect. Even has a nice alcohol content for a light beer, though you would hardly notice it. puboflyons (347), New Hampshire, USA Jul 5, 2008 From a 12 fl. oz. botle given to me on Independence Day. It had an Apr ’08 born on date but I forgot the exact date. Poured a light copper color with a little fizz. A little grassy in the aroma but not unappealing. Watered down. Some element of malts. It wasn’t terrible. subcell (94), Portsmouth, Virginia, USA Jun 30, 2008 I am shocked by the reviews. I think this is the best light beer money can buy. It flavor and body... something no other light beer offers. I love it. bhensonb (2720), Woodland, California, USA Jun 18, 2008 Amber color with a fizzy white head that left in tens of seconds. Light caramel aroma. Near medium with fizzy, near creamy, carbonation. It has caramel flavor. Arguably just a touch of hop bitter. It goes down surprisingly well. Finishes caramel with a little grain, and hop that has to be imagined - there is some bitterness. It’s actually refreshing when it first hits the mouth; the finish is a bit too herby/grainy. Still, this may be the best American macro. I certainly can’t remember thinking good things about a mainline A-B brew until this one.
