Possibly the most hated beer on Earth amongst beer snobs, may fourth or fifth behind luminaries like Bud Light, Corona Extra, Coors Light, and Keystone. I enjoy Mich Ultra because I can drink a lot of them and because women like it. Nothing wrong with knocking down 3 or 4 Mich Ultras at Ruby Tuesdays or TGIFs and getting a nice light buzz. As some others may have mentioned it’s absolutely essential to drink this stuff as close to freezing as possible. Light in color, light in taste, light in character, light in everything. Not as bad as people like to say it is.

bottle, very cold, thin body with taste of seltzer water and a sharp finish, no flavor to speak of

Unfortunately some people I am friends with like this beer so sometimes I have it on hand when they come over. Granted I have a large beer fridge, but this is taking up room in an otherwise good beer fridge. Painful. Tastes and smells like water. Garbage.

Ultra crappy. Call it lite. That’s what it is. Despite what the commercials portray, you do not become a stud when you drink this. Imagine my surprise.

This beer is not a bad taste. It’s just got no taste. It’s water that has a little bit of alcohol in it.

Pours a sparkling light pale color with thin, quickly discipitating white head. Subdued aroma of corn/rice grain. Very thin, watery mouthfeel with plenty of efferevecence. Weak flavor with subtle hints of rice/corn flakes. Crisp, short finish with clean, very gentle hop bitterness. Very light interpretation, even for a pale lager, but a a great choice for the health concious drinker. Could this be the ideal post-workout beer? Try with skinless grilled chicken or grilled fish after a three mile jog, or a good long sesion in the weight gym.
