Little white bubbly head. No aroma. Lite on flavor. I must say that the drafts I had were cold and well carbonated. No aftertaste. No buzz. trokini (1027), San Diego, California, USA

Once again I find myself wondering why I’m bothering pouring this into a glass... ahh, the things I do for the greater good of beer democracy. Anyhow, there is a slight difference between the color of this and that of tap water. I’d say Ultra is about two shades darker. Has a big head, fizzy and quickly fading. Aroma is the only thing worth mentioning... a little bit of a peppery flavor adds some intrigue and I find myself thinking, "Could this be better than I expect?" Then I take a sip... wait, did I? Can’t tell... there is no flavor in my mouth that would suggest beer. But that aroma... huh? Really something. mouse725 (74), Albany, New York, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Aug 19, 2007 Bottle. Without particular flavour. Goes against my thoughts of, "If I’m having a beer, I don’t care about the carbs/cals", so I hadn’t tried it sooner. A smooth beer, but possibly because it is overall lacking in flavour. I’d drink it before other light beers (cough cough, HEINEKEN) but wouldn’t seek it out for certain. minch25 (353), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 0.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Aug 18, 2007 Extra pale yellow, wispy head. Served cold in a chilled mug. No aroma, little flavor(a bit grainy). Pretty much what you would expect. This could be worse though. This is more or less inoffensive, just nothing there. MadMan (497), Tempe, Arizona, USA
| 0.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Aug 17, 2007 Bottle. Pours clear and light yellow with faint white head. Aroma is light malt, very light and maybe a hint of wet cardboard. Flavor is nearly non existant, however tastes more like beer than water. I realize the drive for low carb beer however I find with this beer that if this were a necessity for me, I’d quit drinking altogether.
