beerbill (1918), Laurel, New York, USA May 31, 2005 12 oz. bottle. Low carb and tastes like it. Virtually no aroma. Pours a straw yellow with a very thin white head. No flavor to speak of. Given the choice of this brew or a glass of water, I think next time I’ll choose the water. crizay (1050), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA May 31, 2005 So my g/f’s grandparents gave me one at a bbq at there house, this is the only time I will admit to drinking this, it’s bad and should only be drank by women. KarmelietQueen (8), Macomb, Illinois, USA does not count May 25, 2005 Ok, I’m not sure if I should admit this or not - but I drink a bit of this stuff. I don’t especially like it (give me a Triple anyday) - but unfortunately I can only drink a couple "real" beers a week before gaining weight (ah, to be a low-carber), so I try and have a good beer first and then drink this crap. Hopefully after 2 I don’t notice the taste anymore anyway. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA May 24, 2005 how can somebody even call this beer?If i was desperate to lose weight i wouldn’t drink beer at all, better than drinking this. fordest (1954), Santee/San Diego, California, USA May 14, 2005 Updated: Jul 30, 2005Draft. It boasts ultra light and not ultra flavor right? Well, at least I’m not getting fat. lagermonkey (597), Marietta, Georgia, USA May 10, 2005 The most amazing thing about this beer is the color. Unlike other light beers that are at least some pale shade of gold or copper, this one looks clear, almost like sparkling water. Any tint in this liquid is silverish if anything. I thought it was Zima. Smell? What smell.
It’s easy to bash this beer but it really does taste like water to me. Sparkling water with some beer essence in there somewhere. I have no other description to add to taste or mouthfeel but sparkling water. Very drinkable though. You could give this beer a 1 if it was the least bit offensive but it doesn’t do much one way or the other. "Goes down easy!" But why would you want it to?
donrajin (233), Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, USA May 2, 2005 Yellow water. Wait, thats an insult to water. Seriously, no taste at all. I guess if I put a little food coloring in water I could call it low-carb also. Do yourself a favor, at least bump up to a Michelob Light. You’ll be thankful you did. TJackHole (72), USA Apr 24, 2005 I prefer the other low carb beers to this one although none of these beers distinguish themselves so I don,t know why.
