It’s working, but the beer options are killing me. So it came to be that I will be rating low carb beers for hopefully only a few more weeks. The aroma is rather weak with a slight malty nose with an even slighter hops aroma. Pours a very pale yellow, very similar to a 7-and-7 with a very small quickly diminishing white head. Taste is very watery with a slightly sweet (and I mean slightly) finish. Very smooth, very dry. Not a whole lot of taste, but I really didn’t expect any. Way better than Rock Green Light which is the only other low carb beer I’ve had, but will not be rating it unless I get a free one because I will not buy a 6-pack just to rate one bottle. | 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/20 | Jun 10, 2008 Appearance: Pours a crystal clear, pale yellow body with a small, white head.
Smell: Vague aroma of tired malts with a background note reminiscent of chemicals, like a hint of malt liquor found its way into here.
Taste: Drop of sweetness wrapped around a tiny handful of grain. Again, there’s that hint of chemicals and a sense of cheapness. Squirt of seltzer water on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Thin-bodied. Medium carbonation. Rather watery.
Drinkability: There’s a slight, but noticeable ickiness to the taste, I’d really prefer it to simply taste like nothing. Maybe I can understand why they’re trying to jazz it up with those various flavorings. Bockyhorsey (2552), Mesa, Arizona, USA

At the time I had this one aroma buds were shot. Yellow color and had a white head. As for flavor and palate. Beer was good enough to wash down the wings. dwyerpg (2545), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

I think if you really wanna be successful on a diet, you have to not drink beer. Leaves a clingy disgusting feeling in the mouth. If i were to do the atkins i’d definitely choose a miller or coors light over this. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Jul 3, 2005 12 oz bottle - Pours the palest yellow I have ever seen with a short white head. Virtually no aroma slightly of grains. Flavor is about the same. Much like drinking water. I’d rather be fat than drink this. Volgon (2490), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

Wanna lose weight? Do all of us REAL beer drinkers a favor and stop drinkin’ beer. That way, you lose pounds and we don’t have to suffer through your lame fad-based advertising every few months.
Drink REAL beer.
