Of all light beers, this one caught me with the "low carb" claim. At the time all I drank was light beer. This was the king of my beer world. More taste than Coors Light with a slightly better taste. Then I grew up. uhlerja (24), USA

The smoothness is very atractive and the fact that the amount of calories are so low is also a good factor in a light beer. Not too much to the smell, but a good low carb/calorie beer to drink occasionaly. Pwn3d (1134), Manhattan, New York, USA

Not much flavor but I dont think it is supposed to. It is also quite enjoyable with food. BrockLandersLS (109), San Diego, California, USA

It is water-downed, uninspired, let (and I am REALLY surprised) it doesn’t have a bad aftertaste. All in all given calories, taste, and alcohol content not too bad of a macro-swill beer. I’ll have to admit, the advertising sucked me in, in addition to the fact I heard on the radio that stores were sold out of it. I guess for somebody on a low carb diet this would be the beer of choice. The best things I can say about it are A) I love the label and B) It has an attractive, champagne-like pale gold color and a fine, white bubble head. Aesthetics aside, it has an above average taste for a light beer. Will I buy it again? Not for myself, but perhaps for less discerning house guests. burgerlicious (308), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 4, 2007 Twist off cap and you are prompted with an off aroma of stale water, but in a good beery way. Very very pale yellow color, almost waterlike. No head. Aroma is slightly sweet in the glass. Good tingly soda water carbonation. Has a slight cardboard taste that reminds me of Coors N/A. No bitterness can be detected. This is perhaps even better tasting than the new Michelob lager. Except for the cardboard, not offensive in any way, quite enjoyable for a session brew. Lacks personality. Easy to drink, like water. Friendly and well behaved. The cardboard fades after a while during the session. Has very little negative attributes during the finish. Remains a pretty good light beer. Finish is quite amicable.
