The nose comes alive with indications of cherries and apples. Citrusy in the mouth and very yeasty. Tasted like a meal handed down by the beer gods. The bottle I had was labeled the Triple Lindy and it gives Rodney Dangerfield every bit of respect that he deserves. DrnkMcDermott (1852), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 9, 2003 The MBC taproom brought us an unlabeld bottle of this since it was off the taps. Light in color, almost like a plain ol' beer, but taste is a whole nother matter. A good fluffy tan head comes with the pour. Blending of flavors that I can't begin to sort out, just impressions of cherry, kind of a porter note, and a buttery smoothness. I got the bright idea to try and make a black & tan using this and a Russian Imperial Stout, but had to forego that impulse for now. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 10, 2002 There is a big spicy nose on this beer. The taste is of candy, spices, malt, and pepper. The candy sweet is a little too much for my tastes, but fairly standard for a belgian. The flavor balance seems a bit off, and its maybe a bit thin. But other than that its pretty solid. I’ve had worse Belgians from Belgium. heh Give it a try if you are ever at the brewery. redmosquito (172), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 29, 2005 Out of the bottle, this beer poured a golden amber color with a white head. The aroma is primarily yeasty, initially a fruity bock like yeast aroma then spicey, with some bready malt aroma as it warmed. The flavor is wine like, clean with little bitterness or hops. The finish is all warming alcohol. This is one of the easiest drinking tripels out there. Inveigler (371), Ferndale, Michigan, USA

Nice soft aroma and appearance. The alcohol warmth is noticed at first sip, I am not sure the malt is there to balance. Still, a pretty darn good and very drinkable beer.
