Draft sampler at MBC. Light straw color with a small white head that diminished quickly. Complex hoppy citrus yeasty aroma. Light to medium body. Same complex sour hoppy citrus flavor with a moderate finish with a small alcohol tone. Very one of a kind brew.

On tap at the brew pub- Sparkling gold body with an initial thin white ring. Bread and yeasty aromas, laced with mild alcohol, and some pea/ brett qualities. Yeasty sweet bread flavours with a good hop bite, and a nice citric zing. Good alc presence and warming features.

Bottle poured a clear yellow with a small but lasting white head. Aromas of juicy fruit gum, spices, and a hint of citrus. Palate was light bodied. Flavors of fruitiness, spices, and lighjt citrus with a smooth, slightly dry finish. This is an easy drinking beer, but totally unlike any other Grand Cru I’ve ever had!

12 oz bottle, via Styles. Pours a slightly hazy straw color, with a small large bubbled head. Fruity aroma with lots of spices and hints of yeast, hay, and wheat. Very spicy flavor up front with lots of wheat and yeast on the finish. Fairly superficial flavor profile, not a whole lot of depth or complexity. Nice spritzy carbonation, medium bodied, with a refreshing finish. This is a fairly enjoyable beer, but it lacks alot of the complexity and depth that this used to have a few years ago when it was made in Texas.

Lightly hazy blonde with a thin white head. Nice coriander and curacao and spices in aroma. Spicey yeast with clear orange notes and warm alcohol. Rich and onctuous mouthfeel. Mondiale 2005.

Clear pale golden color with a thin white head. Fruity aroma with notes of banana and citrus, some corriander as well. Lots of corriander flavor, some fruity yeast esters. Fairly one dimensional.

Poured a hazy yellow with a thin white head. Mild notes of citrus on the nose. Thin and flat mouthfeel. Mild spice, banana, lemon, orange, and bread on the tongue. Boring finish. Lots of alcohol, though! Drinkable at best.
