12oz bottle from Party Pak Liquors (Indianapolis, IN). Pours a generally clear, bright yellow with thin white head. Little head retention but still evidence of lacing on the glass. Aroma is grain, yeast, sweet malt, honey, apple, flowers, and spice, Flavor is similar with nice floral and sweet honey character, some caramel, spice and cotton candy especially as the beer warms. Medium body with a sweet finish. This was a very nice Belgian style ale.

Pour from bottle is a very filtered golden yellow, with a small amount of lasting head. Yeasty taste with a little spice, not much else. Not much going on with this grand cru.

From bottle. Part of May beer tasting event. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrus, yeast, and spice. The taste is sweet yet citrusy with a touch of spice. Not as good as the original beer though.

12oz from Jimbowood I believe, shared with my girlfriend Cyn pours orange with a bright white ring. Nose is kinda gross. Taste is overly spiced, but bright.

Pours a clear yellow, with a thick white head. Flavor was yeasty, like super market sour dough bread, yet light and sweet. The aroma has a slight sour yeast smell.

Not at all what you would expect from a Belgian strong. It’s like a Bud Lite version of the style. It has a very pale yellow color with a very large foamy head. It is refreshing though.
