| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 28, 2005 Beer pours cooper color with a beige head that mostly dissipates. The aroma is musty/dusty with a bit of caramel malt sweetness. Flavor is mildly malty but also chaldy in an unpleasent way. I wished I had tried this when it was being brewed in Texas. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 14, 2005 Thanks to beer handy for this. Pours light copper/dark straw with medium head. Aroma of malt, slight almonds and toffee. Tastes somewhat light on the palate, with a semi-dry tart finish. Likerighteous (120), Pflugerville, Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 5/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 6, 2005 Bottle. Clear coppery color with tanish head.that clings nicely and doesn’t disappear. Lively, complex aroma evokes nuances of carameled apples and the wooden sticks they come attatched to. It doesn’t give away its hoppy underpinnings until after a few slugs. Finishes clean to slightly bitter. I won’t pine for this one to return from retirement. Though it was a pleasant Super-Bowl Sunday find at the H.E.B. grocery as a special closeout for 4.69/6. Cheers. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 16, 2005 Beautiful rich amber color, with a light hoppy aroma. Slighly bitter floral notes, and refreshing carbonation. Not particularly complex, but worth a try. HopsformyHips (113), Memphis, Tennessee, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 15, 2005 I would probably rate this one higher had it not been a dud of a bottle. It lost its seal somewhere down the road so was flat falt falt. I could smell and taste it though...so in the aroma we have a nice showing of yeast and some malt and I detected a hint of lavender. mild hoppy bitterness on the taste, but some carbonation would have probally made this one much more tastey. I’ll hold out for a good bottle. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 10, 2005 bottle-purchased at world market in El Paso, tx-pours a nice orange hue with a nice small off-white head. sweet, twangy, grassy hops, munich malt with a touch of spice. flavors are grassy, spicy, and grainy malt twang. the palat is full, but has an abrasive quality to it that is not good. cardboardy finish. not well balanced. the beer became more sour as it warmed. NO way this is a belgian ale. PorterPounder (3148), Tallahassee, Florida, USA

Overall a decent effort. dberger624 (1028), Phila, Pennsylvania, USA
