12oz bottle. The smell is very raspberry with a hint of malts. Very sweet smelling. Pours a orange color. Initial strong raspberry flavor that eventually fades into a malty aftertaste, with just a hint of the berry left over. This is a decent fruit beer, but I wouldn’t write home about it. ($1.59)

The smell is cocoa, raspberry, chocolate, and malts. The look is amber to pink in color with a light white head. The taste is watery, raspberry, cocoa, and artifical sweetness.

Yellow pink in color with a small white head. Aroma is of raspberry, light cocoa, and vanilla. Taste is of raspberry, malt, cocoa, water and sugar.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a thick white head that fades quickly. Smells like a raspberry vanilla candy, overly sweet and sticky. Body is thick, milky, and creamy (if the mouthfeel on here was on a stout or IPA people would flip… best part of this beer). Still quite sweet. Ends almost flavorless, with a very clean finish.

Sample tasting - cloudy amber with white head that doesn’t last. Fruit nose with slight malt notes. Flavor of raspberry (tahdah) and other fruit. Sweet. An okay chick beer.

This is a rating for the original Celis Raspberry, which was one of the best fruit beers on the market. Normally, in order to get sufficient fruit flavor one would either have to add so much fruit that the beer became too sour or use flavorings which tasted chemical or medicinal. Somehow this brewer is able to make a raspberry beer that tastes like a fruit punch or wine cooler without any of the usual problems.

12oz. I didn’t want to ruin how enthusiastic my friend was regarding this beer, but a major pass by me. Not cloyingly sweet, but still some malt/fruit clash of powers.

childrens cough syrup and dusty raspberry hard candy aromas ... pours a pink brown light colour .. with a good dusky pink head .. has an almost pepto taste with cough drop notes, but is refreshing and light , young girls might like this, but is not that enjoyable ..
