Pours pink/gold, almost wine-like in body. Scents are syrupy raspberry, slight citrus in hops, and metallic notes. Taste is very similar, and though refreshing, very thin in the mouth. For such "refreshment," I’ll take a mountain dew code red instead.

Very sweet, candy raspberry syrup. Aroma is sweet like sugar and the taste is ultra sweet. Very heavy body, sticky sweet and actually sticky. Tootsie raspberry lillipop soda.

1996 vintage courtesy of dpflanzer, thanks David. Pours gold with small sediment floaties and thin white head. Big fruity aroma of concentrated sweet raspberries and little else. Very nice inviting aroma and the age is apparent in how even and blunted it is. The taste is even and blended from age starting with semi sweet raspberries that grow toward tart fruitiness as the midpoint approaches. Into the finish it dries up and mellows out leaving a pleasing mildly tart yet sweet raspberry fruitiness behind in the after taste.

Bottle from around 1996 brewed in Texas. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is amazingly still full of raspberries with stale malt and a hint of acidity. Taste is rasperries and stale oxidized malt. Medium mouthfeel with a slightly tart finish. Very interesting considering the age of the beer.

Bottle: Pours red with a full frothy head. Aroma of, you guessed it, rsspberries. Flavor of raspberries and yeast. A little sweet, but really not that bad overall.

Pours a very light gold with white head. The aroma is almost like a raspberry bubblegum, with a sugary fake candy smell. This leaves me afraid to actually taste it. Once doing so, my fears are realized. Artificial taste overpowers everything else. It’s like drinking cheap candy. Oh Michigan Brewing... Why would you do this?

Bottle. Sugary bubblegum aroma with some syrup and sweetener, cardboard, vague candyish fruit and powdered drink mix. Slightly pink-tinged pale body, nearly as clear as water, with a soapy white head. Sweet taste, cardboard-leaning bready aftertaste, with no appreciable sign of real fruit, let alone raspberry. Some harsh crispness, but even that doesn’t last too long. Medium body does dry out a bit, but not a lot. A little too macro for me, and a shame – I do (or, at least, have) enjoyed Celis White.

12oz bottle. Poured a deeper and hazy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of raspberries, sugary, spices, and fruity. Raspberry aroma was a little on the artificial and syrupy side. Tastes of raspberries, fruity, and some caramel. Thin body. Raspberries are one of my favorite fruit beers, but this one fell a little short.
