Nov 4, 2006 Updated: Dec 31, 2007Belgian aroma with a little fruity something in there. Fairly clear light brownish yellow. Raspberry flavor is not sweet. Since it said berry juice was added, expected a more tastful flavor. Average carbonation. This is just a little better than abita purple haze, and that is not saying much. Finish is an odd off fruit on the back center of my tongue. Will not buy again.

Oct 20, 2006 This beer reeks of artificial raspberry flavoring and not the real deal. You can definitely taste the difference. Aroma is a very light raspberry. This beer is confused--if you make a raspberry beer you might as well go all out in my opinion--like New Glarus.
Flavor is slightly medicinal with some raspberry, but plenty of weak malt, and some corn. Just a bad, bad beer.

Oct 17, 2006 pours copper with a slight reddish hue. aromas of raspberry’s and a little spice. not very sweet and the raspeberry seems to be an afterthought. its beer then raspberry, the flavors don’t blend together.

Oct 14, 2006 12oz bottle pours pinkish amber with a short white head. Aroma is raspberry over light caramel malts. Flavor is raspberry and a touch of vanilla. Raspberry seems artificial though and doesn’t seem to blend with the flavor of the beer. Fizzy palate. I’m not a big fan of fruit beers usually but this one isn’t good either.

Oct 4, 2006 Pour is mellon orange. Only small amounts of white bubbles. Aroma is creamy smelling. Sweet. Flavor is slightly wheaty, creamy fake tasting. Vanilla. Where is the raspberry.

Oct 4, 2006 Bottle. Poured a small white with a pink tint head that mostly diminished, minimal lacing, floaties, hazy, visible carbonation, and a golden orange hue. Nose was raspberries, sweet, tart and sour. Flavor was sweet, acidic, sour, raspberries, artificial tasting, tart, and tangy. Light-medium body. This just was not to my liking.
